The President's Fund for Excellence
The President’s Fund for Excellence was established to support of the mission of Riverside City College. The Fund supports RCC’s efforts to improve student learning and success, knowledge creation, enhance research, and advance socioeconomic mobility through the transformative power of education. The Fund allows for strategic investment in innovative projects, initiatives, and programming that advance the College’s mission, moves RCC towards realization of the vision, and focuses on basic needs, equity and inclusion, economic mobility, and support for Riverside community.
Past areas funded from the President’s Fund for Excellence and Innovation include programs and initiatives such as:
- Student scholarships & awards
- Research grants
- Senior program/community education
- Food/Housing insecurity
- RCC student internship at the Governor's office
- Student technology
- Equity training for faculty, classified professionals, and managers
- Emotional Intelligence/mental health training for faculty, classified professionals, and managers
- Classified Professionals Appreciation Week
- Associate Faculty Appreciation Week
- ASRCC Event support (LBGTQIA2+ and Latinx Heritage Month)
- Community Partnerships
